The
6 days walking tours are designed for small groups of people or
couples (lower price) who
want to explore the island on easy to intermediate walks, which
usually are far off the trails of the island's mass tourism. An
emphasis is given to explore Santorini's outstanding richness of
sometimes awe-inspiring volcanic features. In few places on the
earth so much text-book quality of volcanic features can be
found that close together. We guarantee that it will be an
unforgettable experience. |

| Day 1 |
Arrival
and transfer to the hotel, welcome dinner in an traditional tavern. |
| Day 2 |
Visit
to the Minoan excavations. Transfer to the top of Profitis
Ilias Mountain (556m). Walk to the ancient Thera. Descend
to Perissa beach, lunch. Rest of day on the beach. |
| Day 3 |
Boat
trip inside the caldera for the hole day. Walk to the
historic volcanic islands of Palea and Nea Kameni (craters, lava
flows and domes, fumaroles, hot iron-bearing springs, sulfur
crystals). Picnic and long swimming break. Roundtrip by boat. |
| Day 4 |
Whole-day
walk along the spectacular cliffs of the northern part of the
caldera. Visit of the rests of a Venetian castle on the
Skaros promontory. Old sartor volcanoes, tuff rings, ancient
graves and fossil stromatolites. The day ends in the picturesque,
famous town of Oia. |
| Day 5 |
Walk
in to one of the most traditional village of Santorini, meet the
people, visit the cave houses of the village, and walk to the church
that was built with Santorini earth and Santorini red
wine. Lunch in the town, transfer to Fira, walk to the old
port (700 steps), return with cable car for dinner on
one of the most Fantastic restaurant over looking the
caldera and the Volcano.( See the sun set of

traditional village of Karterados. It is a warm and charming
water front family pension and has a small number of
cozy and clean rooms. All have terraces and view to the sea,
beach is one of the best on the island. Its situation, the
familiar ambience and the friendliness of the keepers provide
excellent surroundings for small groups, and by the way we will
also get to know the life of the people and experience Greek
